What Rihanna doesn’t know about switching up your hair length, style and color, probably isn’t worth knowing. So, we have to admit, we were beyond thrilled when we heard that the Umbrella singer is soon to launch her very own line of hair care products as part of her Fenty Beauty empire.

Say hello to… Fenty Hair.

C’mon, you could have probably guessed that, no?

Not only can we not wait to see, feel, smell and try out RiRi’s new line of products, but in her announcement she also revealed a fabulous blonde pixie crop. Now, that’s how to get us doubly interested. Smart woman!

Rihanna took to her Instagram page on Tuesday (June 4) to announce the exciting news via a fantastic reel which included, not only her own new platinum blonde crop, but a whole showcase of other models with various hair types, textures, colors and lengths.

“A new family is moving in!” she captioned. “@fentyhair is pullin up and it’s time to finally have the hair experience you’ve been waiting for.”

Watch out, Beyoncé, this woman means business.

“You know how much switching my hair up matters to me,” she added. “ I’ve had almost every texture, color, length, from weaves to braids to natural – so I am launching a flexible line of products for not only every hair want, but every single product is designed to strengthen and repair all types of hair, which is what we truly need! It’s time to play and get stronger by the style.”

Launching next week on June 13 (hells yeah!), Fenty Hair promises to repair, strengthen, hydrate, smooth and protect all types of hair – whatever your gender, color, age or desire.

It joins the hugely successful range of Fenty Beauty products which were launched back in 2017 in partnership with LVMH and shook up the beauty industry with foundations and cosmetics to suit every single skin type imaginable. Think 40 shades of foundation! Unheard of – especially seven years ago when makeup for dark skin tones were few and far between.

Rihanna has certainly made headlines with her hair over the years, sporting everything from the shortest of pixie crops to the longest of lengths.

She’s also done asymmetrical bangs, undercuts, sleek bobs, tumbling curls and sky-high quiffs. Not to mention the rainbow of colors she’s experimented with including cherry red, turquoise blue, lilac and, more recently, the very cool bubblegum pink she revealed in May during a fun weekend in Miami with partner A$AP Rocky.

Up until this weekend, however, Rihanna has been mostly donning long, honey-blonde locks, showing them off at various events and launches across the states. But hair transformations are basically a walk in the park for this Diamonds singer.

From blonde to pink and back again? No problem. And we will never berate her for that. In fact, hats off to her, we’d love to have the guts (and an awesome team of hair stylists!) to do what she does.

Her most recent chop is probably (scratch that, without a shadow of a doubt?) a wig, specifically customized for her Fenty Hair promo, but we love the way her crop has been styled forward and over to one side, with layers left slightly longer over her ears.

Short, brow-skimming bangs show off her gorgeous features perfectly, and with the back of her hair flicked out slightly at the ends, this sure is one crop we would like to see more of.

Speaking of wanting to see more, if you can’t wait until 6/13 to hear more about Fenty Hair,  head here to sign up for early access. We’ll see you there!
