Seeing and reading about celebrities’ hair care routines is one of our favorite ways to pass the time. Give us a Beyoncé at the backwash or a Rihanna talking about her new line of Fenty Hair care products and we generally sleep very soundly!
So when Sydney Sweeney took to Instagram on Tuesday (July 9) to reveal one of her absolute favorite hair styling products we couldn’t help but sit up and take notice.
Showing off her to-die-for figure in a navy and white nautical swimsuit, it looked like Sydney was on some kind of fancy yacht in the Caribbean in her latest Insta post. Jealous much?
You had better believe it! She was also donning this season’s most covetable Miu Miu sunglasses – which you can nab here if you’re quick. Her figure? Yeah, we can’t help with that, sorry.
But the hair? Well thankfully, Sydney let us in on the secret to her shiny, beachy waves – Kérastase Elixir Ultime Original Hair Oil.
“Refilling hair shine and health everywhere I go #kerastase #glowout #elixirultime,” she posted.
Earlier this year, the Anyone But You actress became the new Global Brand Ambassador for Kérastase, so it should come as no surprise that their iconic hair oil is her number one hair choice.
But, to be fair, she was a mega fan way before revealing her collaboration with the professional haircare brand. In fact, just last year, in an interview with Marie Claire, she revealed exactly how much she loved the very same product.
“My hair goes through so much coloring,” she explained.
“In the last two years, I went from growing my hair out completely, to dyeing it blonde and then red. A month later I had to go blonde again and my hair started falling out. It’s been absolutely terrible.
“I’m now trying to grow out as much as possible and find treatments that help it become healthy again. I started using the Kérastase Elixir Oil and I’m really loving it.”
Elixir Ultime is loved by many hairdressers, celebrities and hair afficionados across the entire world. Packed with wild camellia, marula and argan oils, it promises to give hair up to 92 percent more shine and helps to make it 10 times smoother and softer.
Honestly? We can’t attest to those claims but we do like that kind of math! And the fact that the product is also refillable and made with 95 percent recycled plastic, alongside 30 percent recycled glass is another major plus point.
One caveat: this product is no bargain, coming in at a princely $62 and $48 for refills. But if it gives us shinier, healthier-looking hair that’s anywhere near as fabulous as Sydney’s beachy waves, then it may well be worth the bucks.
